Dr. Satish Chander Gupta, father of music director Sachin Gupta, breathed his last on 25th February in Bombay following brain cancer and heart attack. He was 73 and is survived by his wife, son, daughter-in-law and a grand-daughter.
An MBBS topper from Punjab University, he was an eye surgeon from London. He had devoted the latter part of his life to free service of humanity in Bombay.
