The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) questioned Arjun Rampal for five hours yesterday (December 21) in connection with the seizure of two strips of painkillers from his house last month. The actor had submitted two prescriptions from doctors in Bombay and Delhi, and there were alleged discrepancies in the Delhi doctor’s prescription which appeared to be backdated. The NCB had found some discrepancy in Arjun’s submissions too, when he had been interrogated earlier.
The NCB had also questioned Arjun’s partner, Gabriella Demetriades, and her brother, Agisilaos. The brother was arrested from a resort at Lonavala near Bombay in October for alleged possession of 0.8 gram of charas. He was placed under arrest under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The special NDPS court granted him bail recently.
