Ananya Panday was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the drugs-on-cruise case in which Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, was arrested alongwith seven others on October 3. She was summoned yesterday (October 21) and again today (October 22), reportedly on the basis of WhatsApp chats found on the phone of Aryan.
The actress was interrogated about whether she had helped Aryan procure weed in 2018-19 by providing him the phone numbers of drug dealers. She denied the allegation. She also told the NCB that she neither consumed nor supplied drugs.
Ananya’s residence was raided by the NCB yesterday (October 21), and her laptop and mobile phones were seized. Ananya is a close friend of Aryan’s sister, Suhana Khan.
