Political activist Mayank Madhur has decided to drag the producers of Tejas to court for making false promises and not paying him for services rendered. According to Mayank, he facilitated the shooting of Kangana Ranaut starrers Tejas and Emergency by introducing the actress and the films’ makers to various ministers and helping them obtain permissions for shooting. He added that he did so because he was promised by Kangana and Tejas director Sarvesh Mewada a role of a running time of 15 minutes in Tejas.
As time passed, the promise of a 15-minute role remained unfulfilled. Finally, the length of the role was reduced to a couple of minutes only. It is then that Mayank Madhur declined the acting offer and instead decided to charge for services rendered. But, according to Mayank Madhur, both, Kangana and Sarvesh Mewada, only kept postponing the payment of his dues. Finally, their teams told Mayank that it was producer Ronnie Screwvala’s responsibility to pay him for his services.
