POONAM PANDEY FILES CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST RAJ KUNDRA, ASSOCIATES | 9 February, 2020

Poonam Pandey has filed a criminal case against Raj Kundra and his associates for releasing her mobile phone number on an app named after her. She has alleged that thanks to her number being leaked on the app, she had been inundated with calls at odd hours from across India and even Karachi, requesting her to strip. According to her, these calls started in June last year, when her number, along with the tagline, ‘Call me, I will strip for you’, was put up on her app.

According to the actress, her app was managed by Raj’s company as she had entered into an agreement with the company in March 2019. She added that she terminated her contract after a month when she felt that there were discrepencies in the payment she was being made as her share, but alleged that they continued to post matter on the app, including posting her number on it, which resulted in her being hounded with calls. The girl has moved the Bombay high court to file a criminal case against Shilpa Shetty’s husband and his associates, who collaborated with her for the app. Kundra claimed that he had exited the app-managing company in December 2019. He explained that he had invested in a company called Armsprime Media last year, which made apps for celebrities but was not aware of the petition as he exited it in December last year by selling his shares to the current shareholders. Raj’s associate, Saurabh Kushwah, said that Poonam’s claims were baseless and that the contract was terminated by the company because of the risque content she wanted on her app. He added that her allegation about not being paid her dues was incorrect and false.
