PVR Inox today (5th June) announced the opening of its new 7-screen multiplex in Bangalore in Global Mall, Mysore Road. This is the sixth multi-sensory 4DX auditorium in Bangalore and has augmented the presence of PVR Inox in the city with 146 screens across 24 properties.
With this, PVR Inox has strengthened its presence in Karnataka. It now has 189 screens across 34 properties. In the whole of South India, it has 530 screens across 95 properties.
The new multiplex in Bangalore has a seating capacity of 1,189, with the last row being devoted to recliners. The cinema is equipped with the best-in-class theatrical solutions including the SP4K laser projectors that deliver ultra-high resolution, sharp and bright images. Furthermore, the auditoria are fitted with advanced Dolby Atmos audio and 3D technology.
The property is designed with curated artworks of eminent actors and actresses, with a big plasma TV in the foyer.
With this opening, PVR Inox has strengthened its growth momentum and has opened 65 screens across 10 properties in 10 cities since the merger.
