Vardhan Film Productions and Zaar Films & Music’s Pyar Mein Qurban (A) is a romantic action drama.
It is the story of a man who loses his wife and brother. He battles political powers to avenge the loss of his family members.
Zuber K. Khan has written a routine story which fails to hold the viewers’ attention. Pradeep Singh Rishiraj’s screenplay is so ordinary that it tests the audience’s patience. There’s nothing in the drama, which one hasn’t seen in umpteen earlier films. Although it is about loss of two close family members, the emotional quotient is almost missing in the drama. Pradeep Singh Rishiraj’s dialogues are dull.
Zuber K. Khan is quite good as Veer. Roma Arora fails to impress as Vinnie. Imtiyaz Bhat is fair as Bhawani Yadav. Ebadat Bhat is just about passable in the role of Ronnie Pratap. Parminder S. Kainth is ordinary as the ATS officer. Aroon Bakshi does well as Vijender Yadav. Parvez Kazi is okay as Shiva. Shilpy Tyagi passes muster as Maya. Anmol Agarwal is dull as Myra. Pradeep Singh Rishiraj fails to impress as Surya. Natasha Majhi, Shakti Singn, Divya Dwivedi, Shehzad Alam Khan, Laxman Singh Rajput and Mohd. Azhar Ali lend routine support.
Zuber K. Khan’s direction and editing leave something to be desired. His narration is routine. Karan Singh Affu Music’s music is average. Manish Kumar’s lyrics are not up to the mark. Dilip Mistry’s choreography is functional. Background music is poor. Ritesh Gupta and Santosh Pal’s camerawork is dull. Shahbuddin Shaikh’s action and stunt scenes lack fire.
On the whole, Pyar Mein Qurban is a poor show all the way.
Released on 3-1-’25 at PVR Citi Mall Andheri (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru 1st Film Studios LLP. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was weak everywhere.
