The prosecution has opposed the discharge plea of Raj Kundra, accused in a pornography case. Kundra, husband of Shilpa Shetty, had moved the magistrate’s court in Bombay last month, seeking discharge in the case. He said, he was being made a scapegoat.
In its reply, the prosecution alleged that the statement of a witness had established Kundra’s nexus with the crime. It also submitted that from the screenshots, it appeared that sexually explicit content was uploaded on the Hotshot app which Raj Kundra allegedly controlled. It was also alleged that incriminating material had been destroyed but there was still sufficient prima facie material against Raj.
