Rajhans Cinemas opened a 14-screen multiplex, Rajhans Cinemas Precia, in Surat on 20th December. The multiplex features state-of-the-art IMAX technology with laser projector in one auditorium. Of the 14 screens, eight are DCI-compliant while the balance six are non-DCI-compliant. Located at Udhana-Magadalla Road, near Schmitten Circle (Y-Junction), Vesu, this multiplex has a total seating capacity of 3,000. It marks a historic moment for Surat as it brings the Diamond City its very first IMAX experience. This is the second IMAX screen in the state of Gujarat.
From suite-beds in one auditorium, amour-couple recliners in another auditorium, luxurious recliners in a third auditorium, and plush-sofa seating to parking for 700 cars, every aspect of the multiplex has been crafted to provide comfort and sophistication. The multiplex is equipped with Dolby ATMOS sound system in four screens, 3D technology (in five screens) and 2K projection.
