Well-known filmmaker Ravindra Peepat breathed his last this morning (14th October) in Bombay following a heart attack. He had been suffering from cancer. The last rites were performed today at the Oshiwara crematorium. The twelfth day rituals will be performed at his native place at Khanna in Punjab.
Peepat had directed films like Waaris, Lava, Aao Pyaar Karen, Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi and Kash Aap Hamare Hote. He had directed Punjabi films Punjab Bolda and Pata Nahi Rabb Kehdeyan Rangan Ch Raazi.
Ravindra Peepat was an extremely soft-spoken person with an amiable nature.
