Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on 28th September wrote a letter to prime minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to confer the Bharat Ratna title on legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam who passed away on 25th September. “As a tribute to the legendary singer for his outstanding contribution in the field of music and art, I request you to confer the Bharat Ratna on him,” said Reddy.
