Trolls on social media, who posted filth against the actress under the guise of seeking justice for Sushant Singh Rajput are being probed by the Bombay police who may make arrests too.
Bombay police commissioner Param Bir Singh said today at a press conference that Republic TV and two other channels had manipulated TRPs, and they will now be under investigation. Not just that, funds from advertising will also be considered as proceeds from crime, added Singh. He concluded that advertisers will be probed if they were victims or part of this controversy. It may be recalled that Republic TV was at the forefront of not just maligning Rhea but also Bollywood in general, in the Sushant suicide case.
