The Bombay city crime branch on June 8 interrogated jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in Delhi, in the case of a threat letter to Salman Khan and his father, writer Salim Khan. The handwritten letter was found at the Bandstand promenade at Bandra in Bombay on June 5. It said that the father-son duo would soon meet the same fate as the recently murdered Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. A case is registered with the Bandra police against unknown persons. The Bandra police have recorded the statements of Salman and Salim Khan.
Nothing concrete is said to have emerged from the questioning of Bishnoi.
