History has repeated itself. Three years back, Abhishek Pathak’s Ujda Chaman had released on 1st November. A week later — on 8th November, 2019 — had opened Amar Kaushik’s Bala. Both the films had similar plots. While Pathak’s Ujda Chaman flopped, Kaushik’s Bala blossomed at the box-office.
In November this year again, Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya has hit the screens today (25th November), exactly a week after Abhishek Pathak’s Drishyam 2 was released (on 18th November).
But this time over, the box-office performances of the two films tell a different story. Pathak’s Drishyam 2 has clicked in a major way while Kaushik’s Bhediya seems to have lost the initial battle due to its extremely poor start.
