SEXUAL HARASSMENT CASE AGAINST VIBHU AGARWAL, ONE MORE | 6 August, 2021

The police today (August 6) filed a case of sexual harassment against Vibhu Agarwal, CEO of Ullu Digital Pvt. Ltd. He is alleged to have sexually harassed a 28-year-old girl. The company’s country head, Anjali Raina, has also been booked in connection with the same incident.

The victim told the Amboli (Andheri, Bombay) police that she was molested on June 18 in the store room of the company’s Andheri office in Bombay. According to the complaint, Vibhu asked the lady to remove her clothes and threatened to defame her family members if she did not do so.

On the basis of her complaint, the police registered a case against the two accused under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force against a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty), 354(B) (assault or use of criminal force against a woman or abetting such act with the intention of disrobing or compelling her to be naked), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention). Vibhu had earlier produced Baat Ban Gayi and Dance Bar.
