Shikha Kapur, who had joined as the COO (chief operating officer) of Eros International last year during the lockdown, has resigned from the company along with her entire team of six persons. Non-payment of salaries is said to be the reason for her and her team-mates’ resignations.
On its part, Eros has denied that Shikha and her team resigned. The company has said that the pandemic had forced it to reinvent and restructure its business model and, therefore, some employees had to be retrenched.
