Released this week in U.P. (at Kanpur), Om Sakthi Movie Arts’ Snake Cave (dubbed from the Chinese English film of the same name; UA) is about a boat expedition of a mother and daughter going horrendously wrong when a giant snake attacks the boat.
The story and screenplay offer no novelty. Even the dialogues are absolutely routine.
Raymond Lam does an average job. Sofia Song is ordinary. Yin Zhao De, Lemon Li, Tao Li Xin and Naomen Eerde lend routine support.
Lin Zhen Zhao’s direction is average. Background music is fair. Xia Xiaoming’s cinematography is nice. Editing is loose. Dubbing is ordinary.
On the whole, Snake Cave is a weak fare with not even a hint of novelty.
