Across State Entertainment’s Soham (Marathi) is about Shri Param Pujya Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji and about his teachings on the confluence of three virtues — knowledge, science and spirituality.
The story and screenplay will hardly have any takers because they do not translate into an entertaining drama. The dialogues are ordinary.
Suhas Palshikar does well as Aajoba. Pankaj Vishnu is alright as Vikas. Jyoti Nimse is okay as Kavya. Savi Chetan Bidvi is passable as Ira.
Pundalik Yashoda Laxman Dhumal’s direction is hardly of the kind which could engage the masses. Ravindra Bharat’s music and background score are below the mark. Bipin Jadhav’s lyrics are alright. Karan Tandale’s cinematography is quite nice. Vijay Khochikar’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, Soham is a flop show.
