Zee and Sony Pictures Networks India will discuss an extension of the merger deadline, Zee managing director Punit Goenka said on December 20. The merger deadline was December 21 (today).
Zee said, it had received a communication from Sony that they will enter into negotiation “in good faith” and “with a view to discuss the extension of the date required to make the merger scheme effective by a reasonable period of time”.
