Shah Rukh Khan and five of his team members were stopped for an hour at the Bombay airport by customs officials early on November 12 over payment of duty for six luxury watches worth Rs. 17.90 lakh. Customs duty of Rs. 6.90 lakh was levied on the watches after their evaluation.
The superstar had flown in from Dubai on a chartered flight at 12.30 a.m. and the payment facility was not operational at that time.
