Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray said yesterday (November 5) that in a bid to boost the entertainment industry, the state government will create world-class facilities to produce content of better quality. He was speaking at a webinar organised by the Maharashra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation.
Thackeray said that the government would consult industry people to make better infrastructure available in the state. He asked the film industry to list out their requirements and prioritise them, assuring that the government would extend all the help, in terms of technology and space, that was required. He added that the state would work on building affordable cinemas and reserve screens for Marathi films.
