Star and BJP MP from Gurdaspur, Sunny Deol yesterday (1st December) tested positive for COVID-19 near Manali. Himachal Pradesh health secretary Amitabh Awasthi confirmed the news. Sunny had gone to a farmhouse near Manali with three friends some days back to take rest after a shoulder surgery he underwent in October. They all were to fly back to Bombay, for which they got tested for coronavirus. While two tested positive, the reports of the other two were inconclusive. The actor-MP will now return to Bombay after he recuperates completely. He is reportedly asymptomatic and is in isolation.
