The latest blockbuster, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, joined the Rs. 200-crore club on January 25, the 16th day of its release. The Ajay Devgan starrer had been going great guns since the day of its release and it made it to the Rs. 100-crore club in just six days.
The historical drama’s first week closed at Rs. 115 crore. It added Rs. 74.60 crore in the second week, taking its two-week total to Rs. 189.60 crore. The third weekend started with Rs. 4.50 crore on Friday (January 24). Collections jumped to Rs. 8 crore on Saturday, the film’s 16th day, taking the total for 16 days to Rs. 202.10 crore.
