Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress has nominated Shatrughan Sinha as its candidate for the bypoll to the Asansol Lok Sabha seat left vacant after singer Babul Supriyo (on left in picture) quit the BJP and shifted to Mamata’s party. Supriyo has been nominated for the Ballygunge Assembly seat which is vacant due to the demise of Trinamool veteran Subrata Mukherjee in November last.
