Ramesh Taurani, it appears, has been taken for a ride by one Sanjay Gupta of SP Events which promised to innoculate 365 employees of his company, Tips Industries, for a fee of Rs. 1,200 per dose plus GST. The vaccinations were administered on May 30 and June 3. However, till today, the employees have not received the vaccination certificates which were to come by June 12. Taurani was promised the certificates from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Bombay. It now seems that the vaccines were fake as the certificates are not available anywhere.
It appears that one Rajesh Pandey, former employee of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, was behind the vaccine scam.
