Two persons from Hosapete taluka in Karnataka were arrested on charges of hurling a water bottle at singer-composer Kailash Kher at the Hampi Utsav on 30th January. Saddam Hussein and Krishnappa reportedly tried to draw Kailash’s attention and request him to sing more Kannada songs. The bottle fell about 10 ft. short of the singer and an unfazed Kher continued with his performance.
The two men were taken into police custody and remanded to judicial custody.
