The Uttar Pradesh government has now allowed single-screen cinemas and multiplexes in the state to function at 100% capacity. A directive to this effect was issued yesterday (29th October). Thus far, cinemas in the state were operating at 50% capacity in view of the Coronavirus pandemic.
