Work on the prestigious Film City, being built by producer Boney Kapoor and the Bhutani group in the Jewar area of Gautam Budh Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, is yet to start but shooting in the proposed film city will begin next month. Land mapping for the shooting of Boney Kapoor’s Mom 2 has already begun, and the set will be ready within 20 days. Mom 2 will star Khushi Kapoor. It is being directed by Girish Kohli.
Meanwhile, plans are afoot for the formal inauguration of the film city to be done in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
