DELHI COURT REBUKES NORA FATEHI FOR NO-SHOW | 3 November, 2026

The Delhi police on November 2 informed special sessions judge Gagandeep Singh that actress Nora Fatehi had been summoned in the ongoing Rs. 200-crore extortion case involving jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, but they had no confirmation regarding her appearance. Her counsel subsequently moved an application seeking an exemption from personal appearance.

Pulling up the counsel for her absence, the court remarked, “She is a witness and was supposed to be here. Her conduct is not up to the mark. Don’t take the court for granted.”

Chandrasekhar is accused of extorting funds from Aditi Singh, wife of businessman Shivinder Mohan Singh, by impersonating senior government officials and promising to secure her husband’s bail.
