The Election Commission on 20th April directed Eros Now to stop forthwith the online streaming of its web series on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all related content till further orders. The EC, in its order, cited its April 10 direction, banning the screening of any biopic subserving purposes of a political party or any individual entity related to it and which has the ability to disturb the level playing field during elections.
