The Bombay high court has received an email warning of a possible bomb attack. The email also threatened attacks on actor Amitabh Bachchan’s residence, singer Diljit Dosanjh’s November 27 concert in Bombay at Mahalaxmi Race Course, and the Bombay stock exchange. The police have deployed additional personnel around the high court, other court premises, government establishments, vital installations and sensitive public places.
This is the third threat received by the Bombay high court and other key locations in recent days. Earlier, an email had threatened an attack on Dosanjh’s Bombay concert, claiming that an IED could be hidden inside an iPhone. Amitabh Bachchan had also received a threat email on October 23, warning of an attack on his Juhu residence.
