The Enforcement Directorate will issue fresh summons to media moghul Subhash Chandra and other promoters of all the big companies which had taken large loans from the beleaguered Yes Bank, which later turned bad or non-performing assets (NPAs).
Subhash Chandra, who could not attend the investigations meeting on 18th March, asked for an alternate date as he had to be in Delhi to attend the Rajya Sabha session on 18th. DHFL’s Wadhawans (Kapil and Dheeraj) asked the ED to send them the questionnaires.
The ED probe has revealed that suspicious loans worth Rs. 30,000 crore were disbursed by Yes Bank to various companies or groups during Rana Kapoor’s stint at the helm of the private bank till late 2018.
