Kamal Haasan visited the protesting students of Madras University on 18th December in Madras to express solidarity with them in their agitation against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act. Kamal met the students from behind the main gate as he was not allowed entry. He demanded withdrawal of the “autocratic” and “draconian” Act.
