Karan Johar has signed Avinash Tiwary and Mrunal Thakur to play the lead pair in his Ghost Stories which he is directing for Netflix. The short film is part of a series of four short films, one each directed by Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee, who had earlier directed four short films under the title of Lust Stories.
The four filmmakers had, before Lust Stories, collaborated on Bombay Talkies which had had a theatrical release.
Karan Johar recently signed a deal with Netflix to make content for the OTT platform.
