Varun Dhawan’s team has clarified that no fine or penalty has been levied on him in connection with the stunt he performed in Bombay’s Metro train recently, putting to rest recent news suggesting otherwise. The statement comes after the actor’s video, in which he is seen doing pull-ups inside a Metro coach, went viral.
The Metro authorities had issued a statement related to the violation of rules, stating, “As per the provisions of the Metro Railways (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002, the person who creates a nuisance or damages public property will get punished with penalties or imprisonment.” The post was later taken down.
