Producer-director M.M. Baig passed away in Bombay at his residence last night (18th February). Foul smell emanated from his flat and the police had to break open the door after the neighbours alerted them. He was found dead in the flat. His body was then sent to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.
M.M. Baig was the father of yesteryear child actress Baby Guddu. She was informed about the demise and she was expected to fly in from Kuwait today (19th). Baby Guddu, whose real name is Shahinda, works as an air-hostess with Kuwait Airways. M.M. Baig lived alone in the flat.
M.M. Baig had directed Masoom Gawah and Chhoti Bahoo. He had earlier worked as assistant to J. Om Prakash, Rakesh Roshan and Vimal Kumar.
