In order to revive the popular production banner of R.K. Studios and the studio, Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly signed a deal in which he has leased five floors in a building at Andheri East in Bombay to set up the studios.
The lease in Kanakia Wall Street Commercial building is for 20 years. The massive space will be turned into a state-of-the-art studio featuring shooting floors, makeup rooms and a temple.
The combined area of the five-storey studio is likely to be 2,50,000 sq. ft.
