Sanjay Surana was unanimously elected president of the Central Circuit Cine Association for 2025-27 at the first meeting of the newly elected executive committee held on 27th October in Amravati soon after the new executive committee was elected. Shantilal Lunkad was elected vice president. Basant Kumar Laddha and Chandrashekhar Choudhary were elected hon. general secretary and hon. treasurer respectively.
All 16 members of the Navshakti panel romped home victorious at the elections to the executive committee held on 27th after the annual general meeting. The Jagruti panel lost the elections as not a single member of the panel was elected.
Besides the aforementioned four, the following 12 others were elected to the executive committee:
C.P. Berar (excluding Chhattisgarh) Distributors: Lokendra Jain (141 votes polled), Sharang S. Chandak (135) and Vinod R. Bhandari (116). Rahul M. Bhandari (with 63 votes) and Rakesh Sabharwal (34 votes) were declared unelected.
C.P. Berar (excluding Chhattisgarh) Exhibitors: Naresh Choudhary, Prakalp M. Rathi and Sanjay S. Surana were declared elected unopposed as there were only these three candidates in the fray for the three seats.
Chhattisgarh Distributors: Dilip Lunia was declared elected unopposed.
Chhattisgarh Exhibitors: Shantilal Lunkad was declared elected unopposed.
C.I. Distributors: Basant Kumar Laddha (134 votes) and Sandeep Jain (132) were declared elected. Chetan Pandey (24), Rameshchand Sharma (18) and Vinayak Rao Sanas (18) were the losers.
C.I. Exhibitors: Aditya Chowksey (135 votes) and Azizuddin Jameeluddin (103 votes) were declared elected. Those who lost in this category were Adarsh Yadav (54 votes) and Sanjay Kachwaha (34).
Rajasthan Distributors: Chandrashekhar Choudhary and Sandeep Bhandari were declared elected. They polled 124 and 117 votes respectively. Satyavan Pareek (42), Kishore Kala (27) and Basudev Chachan (16) were the vanquished candidates.
Rajasthan Exhibitors: Kailashchand Sharma (135 votes) and R.K. Sharma (134) romped home victorious. Nandkishore Jalani lost the elections with 57 votes.
A total of 188 votes were cast. Of these, 25 votes were invalid. Therefore, the total number of valid votes was 163.
