Shibasish Sarkar was unanimously re-elected president of the Producers Guild of India for 2025-26 at the first meeting of its council of management held immediately after its 71st annual general meeting in Bombay on 26th September. This is Sarkar’s fourth consecutive term as president. Manish Goswami, Madhu Bhojwani, Ashish Singh, Dipti Kotak and Ankur Garg were re-elected vice presidents while Ashim Samanta and Fazila Allana were re-elected treasurers.
Other members elected to the council of management are: Ajay Bhalwankar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Guneet Monga Kapoor, Hiren Gada, Pallab Bhattacharya, Rajan Shahi, Sharad Patel, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Sushilkumar Agrawal, Utpal Acharya and Vishesh Bhatt.
Amit Khanna, Kiran Shantaram, Manmohan Shetty, Mukesh Bhatt and Randhir Kapoor are permanent members of the council. Kamal Kumar Barjatya and Ramesh Sippy are members emeritus. Nitin Tej Ahuja is the CEO.
