The Bombay high court on October 14 gave time to the state prosecutor to take instructions on details of other family members of actress Shilpa Shetty over her plea to fly abroad for a business trip. Shilpa and her husband, Raj Kundra, had sought quashing of a lookout notice in an alleged Rs. 60-crore fraud case.
Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad posted the matter for October 16 after Shilpa Shetty’s lawyer said that she wanted to travel with one of her kids for a shooting and had given an affidavit for the same. When the lawyer said that only Shilpa, and not the main accused, Raj Kundra, would be travelling, the CJ quipped that she may then become an approver first.
