SONU SOOD AIRLIFTS GIRLS STUCK IN KERALA | 30 May, 2020

Actor Sonu Sood, who has been arranging for thousands of migrant labourers in Bombay to reach to their homes in various states during the nationwide lockdown, came to the rescue of 169 girls who were stuck at Ernakulam in Kerala during the lockdown. These girls had been doing stitching and embroidery work at a local factory and had nowhere to go once the factory shut down following the nationwide lockdown for COVID-19.

Sonu swung into action when he was informed about these girls from Orissa. He had all the 169 girls airlifted from Kochi to Bhubaneswar. The onward drive from Bhubaneswar to their village was of two hours.
