‘SUPER 30’ GETS TAX-EXEMPTION IN TWO MORE STATES | 25 July, 2019

After being made tax-free in Bihar, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, Super 30 has now been granted exemption from payment of SGST in Gujarat and Delhi. Since only one-half of the GST on any goods or services is levied by the state government while the other half is levied by the central government, the exemption in each state relates to only the state component of the total GST.

Rumours are rife in trade circles that the next government to exempt the film, based on the life of famous mathematician Anand Kumar, would be Maharashtra.
