Tabu, Ishaan Khatter and Tanya Maniktala have been signed for Mira Nair’s web series, A Suitable Boy. The six-part series is being produced by Lookout Point for the BBC. It is adapted by screen writer Andrew Davies from Vikram Seth’s best-selling novel of the same name. The series tells the story of a spirited University student, Lata, coming of age in North India in 1951 at the same time as the country is carving out its own identity as an independent nation.
