Fresh from the success of his Telugu film, Evaru, hero Adivi Sesh is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Sony’s Major. Actually, Major will be made in two languages, Hindi and Telugu. It is the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who died in the 26/11 attacks as a hero. It will be directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka who was also the director of Adivi Sesh’s earlier hit, Goodachari.
Evaru, which opened on 15th August, is a major success story. It is an adaptation of The Invisible Guest, which was remade in Hindi by Sujoy Ghosh as Badla, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh. Not only is Evaru doing very well in Andhra but it is also making its mark Overseas. Evaru is directed by debut-making Venkat Ramji. It may be mentioned here that Adivi Sesh started out in negative roles but then gradually took up lead roles in Telugu films.
