The post mortem report of Rangoli Lal, who was employed by a TV production house, is inconclusive about the cause of her death. There was no injury on her body. Even her flat at Malad in Bombay, in which her dead body was found, was not in a state of disarray.
Rangoli lived alone in Bombay since seven years. Her family lives in Lucknow. She was found dead on 22ndd August in her flat. The contents of her cell phone could not be checked as it can be opened only by finger print.
Rangoli’s brother arrived from Lucknow on 23rd and recorded his statement at the Bangur Nagar police station at Goregaon in Bombay. He took custody of his sister’s body and had it transported to Lucknow for the final rites.
