Warner Bros. once again rejected a takeover bid by Paramount, and told shareholders on January 7 to stick with a rival offer from Netflix. Warner’s top executives have repeatedly rebuffed Skydance-owned Paramount’s overtures. It had urged shareholders weeks ago to back the sale of its streaming and studio businesses to Netflix for $72 billion.
