Bhadrabahu Divine Creation’s Fakeeriyat (UA) is the story of faith. It talks about how a saint, Gurumaee Maa Rudratmika (Deepa Parab Chaudhari), sets out to share knowledge with people after a life-changing accident awakens memories of her past lives. She propagates the practice of Kriya Yog. Despite opposition and humiliation, she is steadfast in spreading her knowledge.
Shree Gurumaee Maa Rudratmika’s story is like the story of any other saint/Godman. It holds appeal only for her followers. Anil Pawar’s screenplay is routine and not half as inspiring as it ought to have been. The drama, therefore, becomes like propaganda. It simply fails to engage or involve the viewers. Even Gurumaee’s fans and followers won’t feel too elated after watching the proceedings unfold on the screen. Dialogues, penned by Shree Gurumaee Maa Rudratmika and Anil Pawar, are routine.
Deepa Parab Chaudhari is average in the role of Gurumaee Maa Rudratmika. Uday Tikekar is natural. Sandesh Jadhav is quite good. Santosh Juvekar makes his presence felt in a cameo appearance. Vineet Sharma lends routine support. Akshay Vartak, Nayan Jadhav, Nupur Dudwadkar, Amisha Sabnis, Sangram Shinge, Sunil Kargutkar, Amit Bhave, Anuprita Patil and the the rest of the cast provide routine support.
Santosh Ramdas Manjrekar’s direction is weak. There isn’t anything in his narrative style that can floor the viewers. Pravin Kuwar’s music is routine. Lyrics (Samruddhi Pawar and Gurumaee Maa Rudratmika) are functional. Rajesh Bidwe and Siddhesh Dalvi’s choreography is nothing to dance about. Pravin Kuwar’s background music is ordinary. Ajit V. Reddy’s cinematography is so-so. Yogesh Ingale’s art direction is ordinary. Nilesh Gavand’s editing leaves something to be desired.
On the whole, Fakireeyat is a flop show.
Released on 28-11-’25 at Movie Time Goregaon (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru AP Communications. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was dull everywhere.
