GVG Films’ Khel Khallas (A) is a revenge drama.
Lucky (Sikander Qureshi) swears revenge against Pari (Yogita Rathore) and her friends for having made him impotent. Is he able to exact revenge?
Preet Prakash Sharma has written a silly story and an equally silly screenplay. The drama affords no novelty to the audience. Dialogues, also penned by Sharma, are dull.
Yogita Rathore is very average as Pari. Mohit Arora is so-so as Prem. Sikander Qureshi does a routine job as Lucky and Lakha. Anand Raj (as Jack), Payal (as Ira), Amir Khan (as Amit), Gauri (as Jiya), Ajit Salve (as Manav), Kalyani Venkatesh (as Pihu), Vijay Varma (as Anand), Sneha Bhawaser (as Lisa), Deepak Arora (as Darjee) and Arjun Singh (as Bali) lend routine support.
Direction (Aman Khan) is weak. Monty Sharma’s music is okay. Raju Khan and Shabina Khan’s choreography is not upto the mark. Manu Jhala’s camerawork is very ordinary. Ham Jung Limbu’s action and stunts are okay. Rishi Rastogi’s art direction hardly deserves separate mention. Joy Kumar’s editing is loose.
On the whole, Khel Khallas is a poor show all the way.
Released on 14-6-’19 at Movie Star (daily 1 show) of Bombay thru Anamika Studiozz. Publicity & openÂing: poor.
