Experion Moviez’s Kissebaaz (UA) is the story of good versus evil. Harsh has been wronged by Dindayal Pandey and his son because they rape and murder his fiancée, Naina. How Harsh, with help from Chhuttan, seeks revenge on the rapists and murderers is the crux of the story.
Shekhar Ramesh Mishra has writÂten a routine rape-and-revenge story devoid of novelty of any kind. His screenplay is clichéd and, therefore, extremely predictable. His dialogues are nothing to write home about.
Pankaj Tripathi is wonderful, as always. Anupriya Goenka does a fair job. Rahul Bagga performs well. Evelyn Sharma is quite nice. Mouli Ganguly makes her mark. Zakir HusÂsain is adequate. Rajesh Sharma has his moments. Pankaj Berry lends good support. Vikas Shrivastav, Vinita Mahesh and Jyoti Joshi are alright.
Annant Jaaitpaal’s direction is dull. Rohan-Rohan’s music is functional. Rohan Gokhale’s lyrics are so-so. Choreography (by Jayesh Pradhan and Firoz A. Khan) is commonplace. Ankur Walia’s background music is so-so. Uttam Dhakal’s camerawork is dull. Mukesh Thakur’s editing leaves something to be desired.
On the whole, Kissebaaz is a flop fare.
