Don’t trust the rumours about the so-called fallout between producer Karan Johar and his hero, Kartik Aaryan, after the non-success of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Because they are anything but true.
After the Kartik and Ananya starrer, produced by Johar’s Dharma Productions, failed to make the cut at the box-office, the considerate Kartik volunteered to forgo Rs. 15 crore out of the remuneration he had charged. A fantastic gesture from a star who seems to care. Kartik had similarly waived off a part of his fee when his Shehzada had flopped at the ticket windows in 2023.
Meanwhile, Kartik and Karan’s next, Nagzilla, is progressing. And insiders reveal that a third film together is on the cards.
